Retreat with me...
To Peru!!!

Elemental Alchemy- A Retreat to Cusco, Peru

May 16th - 22nd, 2024

Y’all ready for a magical adventure to the Sacred Valley of Peru?!

Join Grace Millsap and special guests for 7-days of transformation through local adventures, connection to nature, sacred ritual and ceremony, and the practices of Yoga.

Our home away from home: Samadhi Sacred Valley!

In the middle of a natural environment, surrounded by mountain and ancient culture that today maintain their traditions, grows Samadhi. Designed with the sacred geometry, Samadhi will submerge you in the universe of the los Chakras, walking through the Kundalini and wrapping you in its spaces, colors, textures, flavors and art adapted for the energy central, to know and explore your essence.

The first floor features a full living room, reading den, library, dining room and a full open kitchen. Second floor is a second living room and a glass painting room overlooking the Sacred Valley Mountains. Third floor is the Instagram-famous yoga deck, with a full mountain view and larger than life glass windows. Located outside is a large fire pit where our group will hold some nightly bonfires + ceremonies, and a garden that harvests the food we eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You have the option to book either a shared or private room in a bungalow. There are a few options - we book everything first come, first served.

There are 7 total Chakra-themed suites that can sleep up to 3 people, with each house representing one of the 7 chakra energy centers in the body, root to rise, cascading down the hillside. Each shared bungalow is decorated with the same color of the chakra being represented. A crystal, overhead shower also depicting the color chakra of the room. Each bungalow has a mountain view, private garden and ensuite bathroom.

There are also 4 two-bedroom suites (two beds for one person each) and 4 one-bedroom suites (queen beds for one or two people). Each Suite has a private living room, its terrace or balcony, and the harmonious services that characterize Samadhi.

About Cusco:

Cuzco, also spelled Cusco or Kosko, Quechua Qosqo, is a city and Inca region,  in south-central Peru. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the Western Hemisphere. Formerly the capital of the extensive Inca empire, it retains much of its highly crafted early stone architecture, which is typically preserved in the foundations and lower stories of Spanish colonial structures. Cuzco was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983. The city stands high in the Andes at an average elevation of 11,150 feet.

We will travel about 90 minutes away from Cusco to The Sacred Valley, which is closer to 9,000 feet elevation to spend our week in sacred community.

Fly into Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco. Schedule a flight that arrives that morning anytime before 10:30am, or a day prior if you wish to stay a day in Cusco to acclimate. If you choose to fly back home directly after the retreat, you’ll schedule a departure flight any time after 3:00pm on Saturday, May 11th, 2024.

(see options below for extending your adventure)

A Typical Day on Retreat:

We will rise and shine like the sun with options for a light 1st breakfast + coffee/tea. Our morning practice will be more of a vinyasa style, with connections to deeper themes of contemplation. 2nd breakfast completes our morning with free time afterwards to wander the grounds or simply rest. Some days, we may adventure to the local market, or sacred sites. But always back in time for lunch and free-time in the afternoon.

Each day, we will have an opportunity for chakra-themed lecture with useful information for both yoga students and teachers. Our afternoon practice is of more restorative nature, followed by group dinner. Some nights are free for personal reflections, and others we have rituals and/or community gatherings planned.

Everything is always optional, you are always free to participate or take time to wander solo.

"Every retreat with me is equal parts adventures and rest. This retreat has been curated with love, magic, and Yoga as the core practices. We have immense love and reverence for the stewards of these practices, and lands and acknowledge the subcontinent of India for the codification of Yoga, and the Inca tribes for protecting the land of Cusco. Magic happens by saying YES to yourself, and allowing yourself to be present to what is happening around you. Peru makes it easy to Drop Out, and Tune In. Drop out of your normal life, and tune in to yourself and your inner sparkle."

Bethany Anderson

Bethany believes in seeing and teaching through the lens of the heart space. She guides with the intention to increase self awareness so that we individually learn to feel for the language of intuition through our own bodily sensations on and off of the mat. With Bethany’s passion for honoring cycles as a means to stay present, you can expect to be encouraged to bravely see yourself in every season and see your way through every season with love. Be prepared to ground, to flow, and to reflect with ample encouragement to take what you need above all else.

Initially beginning as an avid power yoga student, JuJu quickly realized there was so much more to learn. With a practice that has its roots in a deeply rich culture in Southeast Asia, JuJu found it important that his practice, teaching, and understanding of yoga went beyond the physical aspects and incorporated a fuller picture of what yoga and its philosophy can offer the student living in the Western world. Through the years, JuJu has taken the time to cultivate a space where everyone can feel welcome; with accessibility, self-acceptance, and personal autonomy being the core tenets of his yoga teaching.  In his classes, you'll discover an intuitive practice that gives you the freedom to become your body's best teacher, guide, and friend.

Hillary's super power is helping connect people to their joy. She  teaches Yoga in hopes that the practice becomes a part of each persons life. Hillary leads people to feel at peace in themselves and empower folks to raise their vibrations. She makes time for conversations with depth or just passing by, and always stops to smell the roses. Hillary wears her heart on her sleeves and finds her vulnerability as a strength. Her favorite moments usually happen with food, laughter, and nature.

This yoga retreat was so special and magical... The thoughtfulness showed through the diversity of teachings, knowledge shared and their respect and love for all living things. ... I am so grateful for this experience, to take a pause , to laugh, to cry, to be, to connect with other beautiful souls on their own spiritual evolution and gain a deeper connection with myself. Thank you and much love!

Retreat to Costa Rica was an amazing experience that really lifted me up & gave me space to breathe, practice self-care, and relax and/or be social with some great new friends. I am so grateful to have been able to attend & will definitely do it again! I loved being in paradise!

Truly amazing time. I found a grounding and a re-centering of my soul and consciousness. The workshop helped me grow as a person and feel more confident about who I am and how I live my life. Living from the heart can be scary, but also deeply rewarding.

The retreat was named Love, Yoga, Magic; and there was no shortage of any of those. From start to finish (and beyond) it was truly MAGIC.

The amount of love and planning that went into this retreat was so obvious. i appreciated all of the different forms of yoga we practiced, as well as gaining an understanding of the local culture. I swam in a waterfall, did yoga on the beach as the sun rose, pet some local puppies, rode horses as the sun set and I made friends that i hope to have for a lifetime. The past few years have been hard for almost all of the world, and what a gift to find some healing surrounded by such beauty and love.
