Maybe it’s the way that the lush jungle meets the vast ocean via majestic cliffs or maybe it’s the abundance of wildlife that invites us to pause and observe their curious ways, or maybe it’s simply the Pura Vida way that captures the heart. But there’s something about Costa Rica that makes travelers return year after year.

Join Grace Millsap and special guests for 8-days of SUMMER CAMP (but ya know for adults)! You can expect opportunities to connect to nature, visit local spaces and sites, play outside with your friends, and experience the magic of daily Yoga practices.
By popular request of past retreat participants, we are so excited to return to Selva Armonia, and can't hardly wait to be back in the beautiful jungle nook with the kindest and most loving retreat staff.

Sound Healing Ceremony - guided by skilled local facilitators designed to realign the body, mind, and spirt

Boruca Plant and Sahumerio Workshop - we will explore the ancestral uses of native plants for cleansing, healing, and ceremony guided by a local Indigenous leader from the Boruca community

Visit Marino Ballena National Park - aka the "whale's tail", a coast paradise that combines pristine beaches, lush mangroves, and a vibrant marine ecosystems.

About Uvita:
Uvita is part of the Osa peninsula, more specifically on the Costa Ballena (Whale coast), and home to the famous “Whale’s Tale” National Park. Fun Fact: this also the best place to see the whales as they migrate seasonal (Late July - Early November). #swoon The Osa peninsula is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet, and it’s super easy to immersive yourself fully into your natural surroundings. Uvita is a short boat ride away (dolphin sightings almost guaranteed) from Isla de Caño, a protected island with some of the best diving/snorkeling in the world.
Casa Grande
A five-bedroom home with 2 living spaces, 2 shared bathrooms, and ocean-view dining area.
Each room can house 1-2 guests, with 1 queen and 1 twin bed. This is considered the heart of the resort and features all natural construction, ocean views, overhead fans, and in-room refrigerators.
Perfect for the traveler on a budget, who doesn't mind sharing some space with new, soon to be familiar, friends.

The Cabinas offer an intimate getaway space surrounded by jungle canopy and permaculture gardens.
Their design is inspired by the region's traditional architecture, including hand-carved details and locally sourced materials.

Ideal for the single traveler, or 2 folks who don't mind sharing a bed, who would enjoy a little more privacy.

Each suite has been designed and decorated to reflect the perfect balance of sustainability and luxury. Enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the lush Costa Rican mountains.

The top floor of the villa is equipped with AC, one king bed, a private bathtub and outdoor shower, and a private ocean-view balcony.

Meet Grace
Grace Millsap (she/they) is currently located in Charlotte, NC (Catawba Land). Her passions are rooted in science and equality, which inform her teaching of Yoga, and how she shows up in the world.
Grace studies, and teaches, from a long lineage that believes that life is inherently beautiful, and that the path of Yoga is a tool set to better navigate the many twists and turns.
Grace is a 500 ERYT, a YACEP provider, and an Ayurveda Wellness Counselor. Her classes, whether restorative or flow, are infused with her passions, and quest for magic and joy.

Meet Casey
I started this journey in 2008 in my high school photography class. I was so in love with angles, lighting, perspective, and manipulating images in the dark room at school. I have over 15 years of experience in the photography realm, as well as some videography, graphic design, learning some web design, aspiring drummer, yoga teacher, & mama to two cutie boys.
With over 500 hours of training in the yoga world, I have no end in sight ending my trainings. I am yoga-obsessed.. and knowledge in yoga saved my life when recently losing my father. I want to help everyone now.. everyone needs this! I recently graduated my 300 hour training with Johnna Smith at Y2 Yoga. I have learned under Maria Lages, Jackie Dominas, Vicki Vanderlinden, Marcy Goldstein, Ph.D., Patrick McCleaf, and Johnna Smith. My first 200 hour training I took in 2020 online, following that I signed up for Vicki's training in 2021, and in 2022 I graduated from Maria and Jackie's 200 hour certification at Om Yoga.
I love to laugh and make my clients laugh, we truly have the best time and Ive made some of the best friends and most loyal clients. I promise to always give you my best! Any of my clients will vouch for that, just read my reviews on Facebook and Google! It can be difficult to find good-hearted, trustworthy people these days -- I promise you will be loved, treated like family, and taken the BEST care of! Please do the same for me!

Grace Millsap Yoga & Ayurveda, LLC (GMYA) is a small business with a big heart. This cancellation policy helps to cover our large financial investment with our local partners, which are non-refundable upon securing dates for retreats.
If you cancel in writing 90 days or more before travel: GMYA will hold the full amount paid on your behalf and reserve it as a credit for your use towards a future retreat within 24 months of your originally scheduled retreat dates.
If you cancel in writing 45 - 89 days before travel: GMYA will allow you to apply 50% of the total retreat cost to a future retreat within 24 months your originally scheduled retreat dates, however all other payments made will be lost.
Any cancellation less than 45 days ahead of the start of the retreat will lose ALL value paid.

"She found a great resort in a beautiful location. Travel to and from the resort was taken care of. They were quick to respond to my emails leading up to the trip. The accommodations were very comfortable, and I felt connected to nature while we were there. The food was fantastic. Twice daily yoga classes in a variety of styles, and they imparted a lot of intention and themes into our practice. The experience was healing. This was “Summer Camp 2025” at Selva Armonia: a week steeped in beauty, connection, and the lush backdrop of the Costa Rican jungle. As a 250-pound aspiring bodybuilder with the flexibility of a steel beam, yoga is… well, a challenge. Yet I never once felt out of place. The community Grace has cultivated is one of warmth and welcome—where encouragement replaces judgment, and everyone feels seen. Great people, great vibes!
There’s not a single thing I’d change about my first yoga retreat. Grace curated a perfect week of unforgettable excursions (whale watching was definitely a highlight), varied yoga practices, plenty of downtime, and just as much playtime. This week in the Costa Rican jungle was the purest embodiment of Pura Vida.
